August Monday Night at the Movies change

e07190ffd4cf4fc7bba192605f269f59 cannes 2014 2

There is a change in our August 17 Monday Night at the Movies. The new movie is: SALT OF THE EARTH. (This film replaces the originally scheduled Seymour: An Introduction). Salt of the Earth will screen at our usual times: 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Salt of the Earth is Wim Wenders' Oscar-nominated documentary about Brazilian photographer Sebastiao Salgado. It is a fascinating travelogue of the world's wonders and the human race's upheavals.

- Whether you're familiar with Salgado's name and work or not, the documentary "The Salt of the Earth," a popular prize-winner at Cannes and on the Oscar shortlist, will be a revelation. - Kenneth Turan, Los Angeles Times.
110 Minutes, Rated PG-13
